About Web Search Engines
Web search engines are quickly becoming the most popular way to find sites on the Web. Users type in what they are looking for, and the search engine lists all the found sites that might interest the user. If a user type "used Mustangs for sale," a hundred possible places to look might ensue!
Two important techniques help a site.
First, the descriptive "Title" of the html document should stand on its own. An example is "Pete's Mustangs for Sale," instead of "Pete's Page."
Second, one should think of the keywords people may type to find the site and make sure to include them near the top of the Web page (easier said than done). One should include "used Mustangs for sale" near the top in any order if that is what seekers might type for their search keywords.
